About

Penny Pedals started in 2006 as just a need to tinker with things, ideas to make pedals different or better. I had pedal designs, layouts, all kinds of weird prototypes and garbage floating around both in my head and on the workbench... and I just decided to go for it. With a lot of support from musicians and family, I decided to take those ideas out of my head, and put them on people's pedal boards.

Penny Pedals is named after my daughter, Penelope. My only hope is that one day, through creating things that help others create, I can sell a few pedals to help pay for her school books! I want to show her that she can do anything. Be smart, be creative, do something different, have fun, be professional and still laugh at yourself. Hopefully these pedals will help you do the same.

Obviously, there's nothing new under the guitar pedal sun... if you can think of it, it's probably been done. But, that won't stop me from trying to come up with some of the best sounding original designs. You won't see a 1 knob phaser or a tubescreamer clone here, but what you will see is something not available anywhere else, at a price that won't make you cringe. I don't claim to know everything electronically, I can't draw or heck even play guitar that well. But what I can do is try things that others have been told NOT to do, break the rules, experiment and fail, think about why no one has ever connected this to that... and after the smoke clears hopefully what comes out will be an inspiration to you and your guitar playing.

That of course means not a lot of actual pedal designs... but I would rather be proud of a few pieces than indifferent about 20!
And for those who DO want those classic designs, or variations on them, just ask! I can point you in the right direction for almost anything you may need.?

Each pedal design will have a unique appearance and layout, each pedal will be hand made with care, each one tested indiviually before shipping. The musician's world is a small one, and I pride myself on repeat customers and referrals.

I take customer service seriously; we've all been there, had bad service in one way or another, and nothing bothers me more. Quick shipping, good communication, and truly wanting each customer to be happy is what this is all about.
